Mouse anti-N-cadherin stained human heart.

This monoclonal antibody reacts with human neural cadherin (N-cadherin). N-cadherin is expressed in nerve cells, developing skeletal muscle, and embryonic and mature cardiac muscle cells. Additionally, N-cadherin is expressed in mesoderm-derived mesothelial cells. N-cadherin is detected in mesotheliomas and may be included in an antibody panel to differentiate mesotheliomas from adenocarinomas. It is also expressed in serous and endometrial tumors. 
Positive tissue: Brain/pancreas. Expected staining pattern: Membrane.
